MMR Vaccine

We have received a letter from the Director of Public Health asking us to support and encourage those pupils who have not yet had two MMR vaccinations to do so.

Two vaccinations are essential for adequate protection against measles and they are usually offered at age 12 months and at pre-school.

Although GPs write to all parents of children in the 10-16 age group who have not completed their MMR vaccinations,if you are uncertain about your childs MMR status you can check your parent-held records (The Red Book) and can also contact your GP.
