Year 11 Sponsored walk

Posted on June 30th 2020 by

They've done it! The group arrived at CCC just after 2.30 to a big applause from staff and students. They deserve a huge amount of credit for their perseverance and initiative in organising and completing the walk. They have raised an incredible £1966 so far for Pete's Dragons and asked me to pass on their thanks to everyone for their support.

On Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June, six would be 45 mile Ten Torers are organising their own 45 mile walk around Cullompton and the surrounding area to compensate for the cancelled event in May. They are doing this whilst socially distancing and so will not be camping on Monday night but returning to their homes before continuing their walk on the Tuesday. The students are: Thomas Matthews, Amy Bell, Lily-Rose Egan, Alex Sorlie-Pring, James Oglesbee, Lola McCormick and Hannah Trude

The students are raising money for 'Pete's Dragons'- a charity that means a lot to them all. I have attached the link below for anyone that wishes to sponsor them.
