Mrs Davies, Head of Science at CCC, has chosen a selection of exciting Science Fiction books for the Library. Come and see the Science fiction section, with books for all ages and see that Science books are not just Reference or Text Books.
Mrs Davies particularly recommends the works of Mary Roach and she is currently enjoying 'Packing for Mars', which The Times newspaper calls "Disgustingly good"!
If anyone would like to donate Science Fiction books they have read and enjoyed, in good condition, suitable for 12 to 16 year olds, please see Mrs Holmes in the Library.

Alex Pring won the coveted prize of a Book Token and gigantic Chocolate Gold Medal in our recent Quiz. He also received 50 House points.
The quiz was part of numerous events held throughout the College on World Book Day.
Alex found the book titles and characters hidden in the News and Blog on the school website and was the first to hand in the correct answers.
He is pictured here with the College Librarian, Mrs Holmes, who awarded the prizes.
