CCC Students in the singing groups VoiCez, Xprecion and Sevenz (Year 7) have been working hard on songs they will be performing at the VOCALIZE concert on Tuesday 8th May 2018.
The concert will be held at the College from 7.00 pm until 8.30pm. and the singers also include children from Bolham Primary School as well as soloists.
We extend a warm welcome to family and friends - come and enjoy the fabulous singing.
The concert will be raising funds for the development of singing at CCC.

Enrichment Week at CCC is from Monday 23rd July to Wednesday 25th July 2018.
There is a wide range of exciting activities to choose from, both new - a joint French and History trip to France and Belgium, - and old favourites such as surfing, photography, sports and many more, not forgetting the Year Trips on the Wednesday.

We are very excited to be welcoming Steve Voake to CCC, Steve is the award-winning author of several YA novels including The Dreamwalker's Child, The Starlight Conspiracy and Blood Hunters (Faber &Faber).
He has also written several series for younger readers including Daisy Dawson, Hooey Higgins and Maxwell Mutt (Walker Books). Insect Detective was awarded Best Illustrated Non-Fiction Children's book by the English Association.
Steve is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University and a regular tutor for the Arvon Foundation. He has taught a writing master class for the Guardian and was long listed for the University of Canberra's International...

Year 11 Mentoring Programme

Congratulations to our U13s (a combination of Years 7 and 8) and U15s (all Year 9 so a year younger) girls cricket teams.
Both teams are East Devon Indoor Cricket Champions and now qualify for the Devon Schools Finals in March.
Well done girls!
And - a big Thank You goes to Paul Diamond for giving up so much time to help coach.

On Saurday 7th January 2018, Amy Stewart, a Year 9 student, competed in the Pony Club National Winter Triathlon Qualifier at Wellington Sport Centre. Amy was representing Silverton Hunt Pony Club and the competition was to select individuals to represent Area 15 (Devon and Somerset) at the National Championships later this year.
The Pony Club Winter Triathlon is comprised of 3 events: pistol shooting, running and swimming. Amy achieved best swim in her age category and, coupled with her scores for shooting and running, secured her place in the finals at Milton Keynes in March. This achievement also goes towards her Pony Club Area...

Jodie and Gemma Dilks in Year 7 and Olivia Broom and Amy Stewart both in Year 9 are keen swimmers competing very successsfully in the County Swimming Championships.
Gemma and Jodie are medaling in several events and have got to the super finals, which include the best 8 swimmers in the whole competition up to age 16+. Olivia gained a Bronze on Sunday 21st January 2018. The final weekend of Counties is the weekend fo 3rd and 4th of February 2018. We will be cheering the girls on!

Christmas at CCC is always a special time.
Students are involved in the celebrations leading up to the Christmas holidays in many different ways - decorating the beautiful tree in Reception, singing at the school's annual Carol Concert in St Andrews Church, a Christmas disco for Years 7 and 8, which raised over £200.00 for the PTFA and Year 11 Prom fund, performing at the Christmas Market in Exeter, and of course enjoying a superb festive lunch prepared by Steve and his Staff.
