Raising Money for Edukid

Cullompton Community College is holding several fund-raising events to raise money for Edukid. We held a cake sale on 16th May and raised £85.00. Thanks to all the students and staff who donated delicious and colorful cakes.

To kick off fundraising Miss Nevitt, Director of Additional Needs, ran the Bideford 10K on the 15th May.

Our next fundraising event will be on the 18th June 2016. We are asking students get sponsored to run five kilometers at Killerton Park.

All our teams successfully complete Ten Tors 2016!

More success for Cullompton Community College this weekend as we had three teams complete the Ten Tors challenge at the 35 mile distance. The 18 students, all in year 10, showed their grit in walking, navigating, and camping and did themselves, their parents and the school very proud. The first team in was Cullompton Community College A who crossed the finish line at 11.30 led by team leader, Will Young. Cullompton Community College B and Mid Devon Youth finished only 9 minutes apart led by Helen Ballantyne and Luke Butler respectively. CCC B gave a stirring rendition of ‘God Save...

Melissa Jarrett, 7AJC wrote the following report:

"When going to the student conference we went to 4 sessions (as described above). We all had a great time learning about diversity, and trying different foods and clothes from a different religion/country. This visit reminded us that we are so lucky to be a part of a co-operative school, and we took back ideas and information to help students who might be leading their own projects in their own school."
